A cigar bar in Beijing (北京鹰阁雪茄) provides customers an elegant and relaxed space for the enjoyment of finely curated cigars. In order to remove the cigar smell and to avoid indoor air pollution, Monitair’s bipolar ionization indoor air quality device was installed in the cigar bar.

After installation of 1600Box, optimal ion levels were achieved in the space, from less than 400 ions/cm3 to 3,000 ions/cm3. Customers can enjoy their cigars while breathing fresh air. Ions can penetrate deep into the air and surfaces of objects to completely sanitize potential germs, creating a comfortable and healthy environment for every customer.

Some common odourous compounds that can be removed by bipolar ionizer are: Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulfide, Methanethiol etc. The smell and smoke from cigar can be greately reduced.
